Now in terms of order, something more is necessary than loving it, being organized and detailed to start providing services. It is important to train and know the variety of methods that exist to create your own style, using the best practices that exist and adapting them to different types of clients.

So I certified as a Consultant with Marie Kondo, also in NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing) as a Professional Organizer and specialist in Residential, plus other certifications in the area. In these 3 years I have helped a large number of clients understand that when ordering, we are unconsciously organizing and discarding emotions, feelings, experiences that also need to be ordered.

They say that when you love what you do, you don’t work anymore, you just have fun doing what you like the most.

I am passionate about organizing physical spaces efficiently, to generate harmonious, practical and easy to maintain areas.

In mid-2016, due to those things in life that coincidences become causalities, watching an Instagram Story of a Venezuelan influencer, I found out that there was a profession, for that since I was little, it had been my hobbies that characterized and defined me and I realized that the love of having everything organized could go from being part of my life, to being a philosophy and that I could also share it with the world.

But it was not until one afternoon with friends, talking about everything as always on the steps of the porch of my house, (which had become the preferred place for long gatherings, where we enjoyed talking about how to change the world, sharing dreams and laughs) that I comment on what I had seen on the networks and they, who know how meticulous I am with order, were the ones who encouraged me to create an account on Instagram, to start promoting my Organization services and one of them He said: “In a month I am opening my art studio, do you dare to organize it? ⁣”

This is how my first work was born, in the gallery of one of my best friends, ordering all the elements that she uses to create her wonderful works.

The studio became a dream space, full of meticulously organized details, everyone who was arriving was enchanted, as if by magic and in this way clients began to arrive one after the other, helping to convert what is today , Mayam Organizer.⁣

As we chose the name of the company it is also a nice story to tell, Mayam Organizer was a combination of the moment and nostalgia. Since I was little my nephews and cousins called me Mayam; It was possibly easier for them to pronounce my first name which is Marian.

One afternoon one of my nephews sat down to help me look up names for the company on Sunbiz and GoDaddy and all the ones we could think of were already taken, and with a beautiful patience he told me Mayam and if we tried this, Mayam and this other , and suddenly it seemed like a good idea to use my nickname by adding the adjective of Organizer, we immediately reviewed it and realized that it was ready and we took it.⁣⁣⁣ It seemed an excellent opportunity to connect the purpose of the company with my memories of the childhood.

In fact, my passion for order began when I was very little; I remember that I loved having everything organized, my closet, my room, my shoes. I packed my brothers’ suitcases, I separated the hooks in the closet so that they were the same distance from each other, I moved the furniture in the living room all the time and of course I loved to mount the little tree.

I also think that there is some genetics, my grandmother Carmen (a beautiful Italian) and my aunts on her father’s side have always been super freaks of order and my mom who got married so young, who can be said grew up with them, has always been suuuper organized.

So if you ask me since when do I like order, the best answer is that I was born that way.

And it was in Caracas, Venezuela, on August 22, so I am from the Leo sign and from Los Leones del Caracas (the best baseball team in Venezuela), married for 16 years and happy mother of two, a teenager of 14 intelligent, noble, altruistic, and an 11-year-old artist princess, with a beautiful voice, and very flirtatious. Currently living in Miami, Florida since 2010.

Graduate in Business Administration with an MBA in Marketing. I worked for almost twenty years in the area of marketing between the pharmaceutical industry and mass consumer companies, handling market leading products within their category.
